At home, I broke my favorite coffee mug and scoured the internet to find the right adhesive specifically designed for ceramic mug repairs. Found Loctite Stik 'n Seal interior adhesive and the product description in their data sheet specifically states that it is recommended for ceramic mugs. I doubled the curing time just to make sure it was fully cured, but once I started using it, the glue "went soft" and the cup started drooping like it was plasticine or something. I instinctively reached out to catch him with my supporting hand to keep him from falling, but accidentally slammed the cup against his front tooth, breaking it off easily. Long story that most likely nobody cares, but just a tip: do not use this product on a ceramic mug that you actually intend to use in the future! It's probably a good glue for whatever else they claim to be, I'm actually a big fan of Loctite. Also, disclaimer, I notified Loctite of this issue and they kindly offered to send me another tube for free. I declined because I still have the original tube that I bought and it didn't suit my needs.
