The sound quality is pretty bad for a product that advertises sound quality as a plus. The Wiif pairing wasn't as bad as others have reported, but the Phorus app is terrible and they should hire some UX people. Bought for my use to play puppy music and get rid of the constant listening to the smart speaker. it does the job. However, remember that it will only be played by apps when you are at home when using your phone. You can play from a compatible computer that works fine. I experienced some pretty severe drops in playback from my Macbook Pro over Wifi/Airplay when my Wifi 6 router was 12ft away. Sad. Overall mediocre sound quality but what can you expect at this price point. Good enough for my dogs I think. At this price point, if you're looking for a Wi-Fi speaker without a microphone that's always on, all you have to do is go for a battery-powered portable speaker.
