There is hardly a food or non-food product that my dogs don't like, so I'm not sure if taste or taste is a major clue. However, this brushless toothpaste for sensitive gums has really helped all of my dogs teeth. I don't always brush their teeth. My oldest (13 year old) dog had a few teeth removed a few years ago but nothing since. She built a plaque again. I started giving these treats (the other brushless toothpaste treats were too harsh for her) and added mouthwash to her water. I recently took 2 of my dogs to the vet for an annual check up. The vet was very happy with his teeth! I trust brushless toothpaste for sensitive gums for excellent dental results. The only thing that bothers me about these treats is that they make a mess. It's like dry toast, crumbs everywhere. Now I'm taking her outside to eat her treats! Hope this review helps.
