Both chairs had questionable top stitching in the same corner. Both chairs had two holes in the fabric in the location shown in the third photo. The fabric itself looks like ripstop and is very durable. I don't think small holes will be a big problem. There will be a finish line. I'll just add a few extra stitches to remove the worn out parts. I would not take these chairs on a backpacking trip because of the weight. However, I would take them in my backpack for an overnight stay where the walk is only a few miles. You are not easy. They seem very durable. They are absolutely more comfortable than sitting on a seat cushion.
