Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Versatile Zento Deals Rear Cargo Trunk Storage Organizer: Universal Fit, Black Mesh Net with 3 Mounting Types by James Womble

Revainrating 4 out of 5

For my 2007 Camry sedan.

It wasn't easy to install but it's not a fault of the product or its design and the hardware that came with it was more than adequate. The problem lies with Toyota and its inability to ingeniously construct small cargo hooks in the trunk. My wife's 2011 Corolla is the same. Having hooks (only) at the very end is like having a brush with no bristles. difficult to deal with. In fact, the question (for me) was how to keep smaller items from sliding around in the trunk, like a small tire inflator or small tool box. I didn't want them to be on the trunk opening as these aren't everyday items, they are in the back, just behind the seats. At this point in the car there is a small corner, ideal for small, rarely used items. The problem is. (was!) There was no way to keep things from slipping. So after a lot of trial and error I attached each top corner of the net to the door (rear seatbacks down) behind each shoulder of the rear seat. This fixed the upper safety zone just behind the seats when they were up. The bottom corners were attached to the lower plastic panels just behind the seats with two round self-adhesive mounting buttons (thanks Zento!). The goal was to install the mesh without drills, screws, or hot glue; Leave OEM installation, no mods. goal accomplished. I now have a vertical luggage net that protects the tool box, tire inflator and small medical bag just behind the seats. I can get everything I need out of the open side door of the car without digging deep into the trunk. And maybe there is still room for a small computer bag. It took about 1 1/2 hours to figure out the "clean" install path. But the job appears to be factory installed, and aside from the incident light, no tools were required for installation. So what's not to like? Overall a solid product, perfect fit and I don't have to shove things back in the front of the car every time I go somewhere. Great project for a Saturday afternoon when your favorite college football team is having a farewell week. ************************************************** ********** 11/18/2019. To update. Still very happy with it. The way I set it up (see last review) worked really well to keep my tools from shifting and separating from travel cases when cruising down the road. Things like this can make your life a little easier with a little creative thinking.
