The most durable material for scratching

Sisal woven in this way is the best material for cats because it easily knocks out cardboard, carpet or rope. I used a couple of these to replace parts that were on a dual ramp scraper that nobody else makes (not the size I wanted but functional no matter what). The entire time I was working on this project my cats wanted to scratch it and once I was done three people took advantage of it. Catnip is not required.
