Review on ๐Ÿš™ Yescom Waterproof Car Awning: Portable Trailer Sun Shelter for Outdoor Camping, SUV, Truck, Van - Gray by Derek Pape

Revainrating 3 out of 5

But not bad for the price.

I bought this to use as a cover for my Jeep Gladiator's pull out camp kitchen. It climbed fairly easily in calm conditions (even when set up alone), although it would certainly be easier with two people, especially in strong winds. The quality of the awning itself is decent but when I removed it after first use (about 6 hours in calm conditions) I noticed that part of the bungee fiberglass support posts had split and split. My theory is that the pole was split when they squeezed a small plug into the metal tip to hold it in place on the pole. None of the other poles split, but I wouldn't be too surprised if the others did. The fabric pouch for storing the sticks is also divided. I decided to return this and install the awning instead, but if the prop issue is resolved then for the price it's not too bad.
