Review on πŸ”₯ Ceramic Flat Iron by Herstyler by Tracy Clark

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I had a GVP flat iron from Sallys Beauty Supply I got over 10 years ago (about $50-60, can't remember exactly) and it works

This flat iron is fine. Comparable to something I could get at Walmart. I had a GVP iron from Sallys Beauty Supply that I bought over 10 years ago (about $50-60, can't remember exactly) and it worked beautifully! Unfortunately, it broke while driving and some parts broke off. The iron worked great before and I will still use it today. I decided to try this brand as the reviews were ok and the price was reasonable. The hair doesn't slide through my hair as easily as the gvp straightener. In addition, the hair does not stay straight even at the highest level. It looks straight at first and when I think I'm done ten minutes later some of my hair needs a redo like it's starting to look wavy again. Very annoying. I am used to a higher quality product. I should have just spent the extra $20-$30 and gotten another GVP. It's cute, nicely packaged and not terrible, but I wouldn't buy it again or recommend it. Unless you already have relatively straight hair, or maybe straightening your teenage hair for the first time.
