I bought this laptop because my elderly relative was having trouble using his iPad. We bought him an iPad so he can check his email and bank accounts without getting up and going to his computer. Unfortunately, we didn't think twice when buying the suitcase and bought the Dodo suitcase, which doesn't stand on its own. Instead of buying another case we bought this laptop. So far it's working great! It's a little smaller than I expected, but it does the job. There are about 10 notches inside so you can adjust it to almost any angle. There is a small fold out 'holder' for the iPad at the bottom, but if you want to use it for your laptop you can just fold it up. iPad, he can still dine on his laptop! He has trouble getting up and walking, so he eats lunch and dinner in a deck chair. This thing is perfect for putting his plate on and we don't have to worry about the flimsy TV tray he was using before he passed out. I gave this item 5 stars but there is one downside: the legs on the inside of the tray are fragile and can be difficult to manoeuvre. With my personal lap table, I can simply lift the top and the legs automatically fold underneath. However, with this product, you have to reach for it and put it under your feet. However, considering the price of this portable desk, I would say it's worth it. Good product!
