Have tried more expensive options and they work the same way. The other pairs I've bought I've lost over time, broken etc. I've been using blue light goggles for about 4 years now so I'm not a newbie and found this brand which is affordable and gamma blocking. That's the real deal, they must have simply copied the technology from other, more expensive brands. It's a compliment to them because they are NOT just yellow tinted glasses. They bring great relief. I work a lot with computers; with a PC with multiple monitors. When I sit in front of screens for so long, my eyes get very tired, sometimes so much that it can trigger a migraine. I also suffer from dry eyes and this can lead to eye infections from prolonged exposure to blue light (from LEDs, laptops, computers, cell phones, TVs) and possibly forgetting to blink when working on a computer. These glasses bring a lot of relief. I also like to use them to watch TV when my eyes get tired after a long day at work. I also bought their (less yellow) version of these glasses, which block blue light a little less and have less of a yellow cast; They are more like regular glasses. Good choice, I highly recommend it.
