Black looked ok but it was matte and just looked varnished. Nothing fancy but best of all. The yellow gold was neither muted nor subtle as shown in the pictures (almost rose gold) but a garish coppery yellow that would probably go well with the classic Casio calculator watch seen in every 80's children's movie. X. ...silver was the worst. I just wanted a plain chrome/silver tie like the one in the picture. I actually bought the whole set just to wear as the regular ones are hard to come by. What I got was something bubbly and uneven and didn't reflect anything clearly. It didn't look good from 10 feet away. I'd be embarrassed if I had to wear a tie to work every day, let alone one for a special occasion. I wish the photos I'm providing could show how cheap these things really looked.
