They are cheaply made and break after a few uses. Luckily you have several of these so they can last a long time with occasional use. The material is made of plastic and is soft on the thumb. It takes a bit of jiggling to get them to sit up straight to open the jar. Overall, this is a regular product designed for opening shotgun beer cans. It works but is not durable.
