We have been using this case for about two months. Our TV is outside, but also under a canopy so that the rain cannot fall directly on it. The TV might get wet from the rain that's coming around the corner, so we bought this case. For what we were looking for it was perfect. It was reasonably priced and does a great job of waterproofing the TV. We live in a region where it snows and it's cold, so we bring the TV inside for the winter. The cover lays flat, and while I don't think it's 100% waterproof (mainly because it's difficult to line everything up 100% so there aren't any gaps when you attach the Velcro), it's definitely a great option for many People. as we. Safely protects your TV from scratches caused by dirt in the wind. If you're going to leave your TV outside in the rain, I'd look into a different case, or rather buy an "all-weather TV."
