I bought this kit because I needed about 10 feet of white LED strip to light up the closet. Decided to buy an RGB LED strip to give me more lighting options. I managed to cut off 10 feet (with a bit of soldering) for my under cabinet lights and left enough light for over cabinet parties. The remote works pretty well, even outside the camper (it's RF so doesn't need line of sight). The tape on the light strip actually sticks quite well, but I had to use the included super tape in a couple of places. . Easy to use 12V DC power supply. When 12V DC is applied to the strip without a controller connected it defaults to white (a beautiful and vibrant shade of bluish white) or using a controller you can control a variety of colors and effects. You can change the colour, brightness and speed of the LEDs and choose from 9 preset colours, switch between 366 pre-programmed lighting effects or just leave it on Auto and let it do its thing. It remembers its last setting. So if you turn it off or remove the 12VDC power supply, it will turn back on in its last configuration. I can get another set to do the other side of the cabinets.
