. I tested my saltwater aquarium further. I thought the salinity was high, 1.031, so I did small water changes daily, using just water with no salt to gradually lower it. I only bought this to make sure the refactometer wasn't calibrated properly, pretty sure it was off by 0.006 so the salinity was always around 1.025, even checked twice for lfs after it and mine were calibrated and now it reads the same. This is a must when calibrating your refractometer.
