Solid mount very secure

I got this for a close friend and installed it and he loves it. It's so cool I want one for myself now. This is a VERY strong connection between a phone and a bike connection. So strong that sometimes you have to fight a bit to turn the phone off. The trick seems to be to twist the phone and pull it out. The only problem I have with this mount is that we cannot use it in portrait mode because I installed the plate upside down on the body of the phone, so it's very difficult to quickly remove the phone from the mount. I attached it to the case with the cable connector down and the magnetic connection point right in the middle of the case, trying to make sure the platter was centered on the case so that it was centered exactly in the "landscape" orientation. on a bike while dodging obstacles for the Pixel 3's fingerprint sensor. BUT. Now if you try to flip it to portrait mode with the phone properly facing up, the retaining nut sticking out of the plate fits perfectly into the notch in the bike connector and prevents you from turning to remove the phone. This means that removing the phone to take pictures - which is often the case - would be difficult and problematic in portrait mode, and you have to pull hard enough to break the magnetic connection without rotating that you feel your damaging the phone. . So he only uses it in landscape mode. If I had (or could get hold of) another plate, I would simply remove the tether connector before attaching it to my case. No tether is used anyway as it seems unnecessary as the magnets are so strong. I can go ahead and buy another mount for my own bike and make sure I remove the cable point before attaching the plate to the case. Cases like other people here I figured it's better to just have a dedicated phone case for the bike so I don't have to walk around with the plate on my phone all the time. A NOTICE. Given the above, it would certainly be nice to be able to purchase a spare/extra cymbal.
