We love this faucet for our kitchen where the outlets are high off the floor. I don't think we'll be using it anywhere else where the outlets are a foot off the ground. Seems like an odd placement. And if kids are running around nearby, then that's not ideal. But in our kitchen, where we probably spend most of our time, it's perfect. Reasons we like this mount (not in any particular order): 1. No need to strategically hide or place wires. This bracket also allows the use of a second power outlet.3. Keeps device off surfaces like our kitchen counter where spills occur.4. It seems well made.5. It holds the device very well and securely. You'll need a flat head to gently pry the device open.
