He found them easy to put on and take off with seemingly good grip (though they haven't been tested when wet). The fit was just about right to size, perhaps a little snug, but something you'd expect given that it expands once in water. We like the anti-slip sole, since the main purpose is to protect young feet from being cut up by sharp stones. The mesh fabric is stretchy but thin, and the back tab makes the shoes easier to remove.
