The makeup itself seems adequate, especially for play, but the applicators for applying it are terrible. They're mostly broken and she has a nicer set, but for a first makeup gift I might have thought of something else. You have to use soap to remove makeup that is harmful to the eyes. I think it will be a little easier with children's stuff, but the worst thing is the container it's in and the applicators. Just really cheap!
