I have a white marble end table that I have been using for less than a year. I have foolishly placed a very large, heavy decorative cement bowl on top and repeatedly hurled it over the marble for the past few weeks. When I lifted the bowl I found some large abrasions on the marble. I've tried Fast Orange Hand Cleanser because it's a fine grit and rubbed it around with my finger but after wiping it off it only made the problem worse as now it wasn't just a couple of long scuffs it now looked like it looked like I took the sandpaper and rubbed it in a circular motion, two large round blunt scrapes. I was about to buy a new side table but started looking for products that would restore the shine of the marble and started reading reviews of how successful people with the same problem are with this product, despite it considering the size the scratch is expensive; it was better than buying a new table. I just received this product today. Even before I started doing this, I had in mind that I would probably have to return the product; I just didn't think it would work. I decided to take a soft car wash sponge and make a criss-cross cut down the center, then insert hand mixer whisk into the cut and use the hand mixer as a buffer. I applied the powder, dampened it and the sponge, and gently swirled the sponge over the scratch until it dried. Then follow the directions, wet the problem area again and use the same towel or in my case sponge you used to polish the area again, this time with more pressure. I wiped it with a damp towel and saw the scratches disappear. I repeated this process about 4 more times for each of the two scratches. I am absolutely thrilled with the results! Scuffs, dull spots GONE. The surface is completely glossy. The existing deeper scratches are still visible when the light is properly aimed at them, but the main issue was the large, round, dull spots I created when trying to buff the scratches with Fast Orange. I think if I did a few more buffing sessions with this product it would greatly reduce the deep scratches. Overall I would highly recommend this product, can't imagine any other product working as well without having to hire a professional to fix it.
