and only after about two weeks of daily hourly - 1.5 hour listening with the SanDisk Sansa Clip + player did these JVCs begin to give out what they needed. After reading a lot of reviews regarding headphones (and not only portable ones), it turned out that there are a considerable number of people who love, so to speak, "monitor" sound - without embellishment, "as the sound engineer intended." These people rarely write what kind of music they listen to. I suspect that this approach is applicable to classical and jazz. I like dynamic and driving performers, and it would be rather strange to hear a flat, inexpressive, "monitor" sound coming to a concert for example of Manowar. My player is filled with music from Industrial, Doom Metal and Gothic Rock styles - the JVC HA-FX1X handles all of this very well! Therefore, in order not to bother with the search for similar magnificence later, in my house in the shelf one more of the same headphones are waiting in the wings. All of the above is not a laudatory ode, it's just my humble opinion .
