Do not purchase this product if you need number portability.

I bought a Telo and three phones to use as my home phone. We've had the same number for 35 years. Setup was easy and the sound quality is good. When I tried to port our home number from Straighttalk to ooma, the port was refused. I received an email from ooma porting saying I had to call Straighttalk to resolve the issue. I did it. The port was resubmitted and rejected again. I received another email from ooma saying I need to call Straighttalk to fix the error. When I called Straighttalk their porting department wanted to call ooma's porting department to fix the problem. I didn't have a transfer department number so I tried to find it on the ooma website. When I couldn't find any, I tried online chat. I was told they don't give this number. I gave ooma the phone number and reference numbers Straighttalk had given me. I got an email that they didn't call. After several emails telling me what to do and not to do and my new calls to Straighttalk, Ooma informed me that the port was down. As my Revain return window was about to close, I received a return authorization. When I called ooma to deactivate my body, they immediately offered to port my number. I told them we don't have time as the body and phones are being returned to Revane. They then offered me two free months of service. I doubt I'll see the 1 year premium service I paid for. If ooma's porting department had worked as hard as customer service to port my number to keep me from leaving, the number would have been ported on the first try or two.
