So initially I wanted a gentle product for my very active toddler. I tried it for a few days although I really didn't like the scent which reminded me of a citronella candle. I'm sure it's probably the same active ingredients. Well my son got weird bumps on his body after just a few uses. I didn't want to risk it, so I stopped using it on him. I figured it was just sensitivity since he's a kid so I started taking it. I hated the smell but used it for about a week. I started noticing that my armpits were EXTREMELY itchy and furry. I stopped using it right after that. I'm still itchy, I just shaved and now I have horrible scars and bumps under my armpits! I know it will take forever to see a dermatologist, but I pray that the scars and bumps go away after the fuss is over. I HOPE! If your skin is mostly melanin, I would not recommend using this product. There is a disclaimer regarding this product that it can be arousing so I know it was a risk but my rating is mainly based on the fact that it smelled and felt like burning a citronella candle all day wear. At least it probably worked with error avoidance.
