In automatic mode, you can set one of four speeds - low, medium, high and turbo (we used medium). The pre-filter is permanent, the carbon filter and genuine HELPA filter last up to 12 months and the pet filter is easy to install. I like that the product comes with clear instructions (which many products lack these days). ) which allowed me to get this product to market quickly (literally minutes) and convinced me I was doing everything right. At the moment I really like Winix Air Cleaner. I think it's a must-have for those of us with multiple pets, and it's so quiet you can hardly tell it's there.
