Helped me. I didn't connect it to the TV. I hooked it up in the basement where the cable comes from the antenna and connects to the cable that goes upstairs to my TV. This cleared a weak channel I was having reception issues with. It's amplified too much on the TV, so you'd better put it away from the TV. I use this with Mohu Air 60. Worked better than the included amp.
