Generally excellent, but the color washes off easily.
This is a hard steel so they don't break like the cheap ceramics I've seen. The only real complaint is that the paint started peeling off my favorites after only a dozen or so removals/inserts. I change my earrings at least every day, so that might be a factor. I still think they are worth how much you get for so cheap!
