NOT HOMEMADE if you don't have an ELEVATOR. I've installed lighting kits for my Honda Element before and it wasn't difficult at all. Not so with RAV4. You have to remove a lot of plastic panels and then run a power line from the back of the car to the front. If you don't have a lift this is very difficult if not impossible. Just pay someone to install the light. Taking all the panels off and putting them back on was also a PITA and took a couple of hours. Now I have to take the car to a shop with an elevator and pay them to install a power line because I don't have an elevator. I am angry.
