Good range of cleaning towels, perfect size for me

I was a bit skeptical about this pack of microfiber towels, but I was pleasantly surprised. At first I was afraid that I would never be able to tell them apart. Luckily they're labelled, so it's unlikely I'm using the *wrong* fabric for the wrong finish. What would I do?!? :) I don't have any stainless steel appliances at home so a cloth that says "shiny stainless steel" isn't very useful, but I've used it to polish some of my stainless steel pans and cocktails. Shaker. Using a dry cloth required a lot of "elbow grease" to get the water stains out, but adding some water sped things up a bit. This fabric is NOT very absorbent, so don't use it too often. It has a "strange" texture due to the dense pile and lets almost no water through. It's pretty obvious, but you're using the 'shiny' side of this fabric. Make sure the surfaces you use this product on do not have nicks or other imperfections that it could catch. After a few uses I tried polishing my Kitchen Aid mixer - it has a metallic finish and hasn't been shiny in years! There is a screw on the back of the faucet that caught the fabric and ripped it a bit. It still works great and I've learned my lesson. I have used cloth for glass on my bathroom mirrors and it was WAY better than the paper towels I used. As long as you wash your towels before use (recommendation on the packaging) this will leave no residue and when used with a little water will leave the mirror shiny and clean. It also did a good job removing fingerprints from my computer monitor. (I don't touch the screen, so it must be kids!) That last thick-haired rag did a good job on the countertop, microwave, and stovetop. It's very similar to a washcloth that you can use in the bathroom, just a little thinner. Use this again with some water and a small scraper to pick up the dirt. They are all 14" x 14", so slightly larger than a standard paper towel and are more recyclable and environmentally friendly. When they get dirty, either wash them in the sink or toss them in the washing machine with your clothes and tumble dry on low (or hang them up).

Pros
  • These towels are super absorbent and dry 10x faster than regular kitchen towels; Sizes 6-1/2 x 9-1/4 inches
Cons
  • No capacity
