I never needed a clock in the living room like in the DVR. But since the move, the cable company has been lagging behind technologically (not necessarily badly) since the dashcam doesn't have a clock. :-o And since I'm unofficially retired and living a measured life, it's easy to lose a day and a date. So I really needed a watch that would show all of that. Now I have a clock with huge inscriptions. But it is so bright that it lights up the room. So I wanted something that would show me information but not interfere with the TV. Well this gadget fits the bill, great! I just plugged it in and after a few seconds the clock, day and date appeared (displayed correctly). NO setup required. 8-) Although Daylight Saving Time ended on November 3rd, it didn't adjust to it. But the remote control (yes, a remote controlled clock) is so easy to understand that it was very easy to change the time. Great device. And a mandatory condition for those who are afraid of losing the day / date.
