I'm not in love with this, but it is a good option if this is the price point you are at, or if you are looking for slim light that will work will minimal space. I have been spoiled for years by my Philips dome light and I love it, but it costs about 3 or 4 times what this does and it will hog space on your nightstand or desk, so there are trade-offs to consider. This light is good and has 3 settings of brightness that will allow you to customize the light to your preferences. The stand on the back is solid, although it does not lock into place, so if you have small children or frisky pets you may not wish to use the stand. You can also hang this on the wall, which was the option I chose, allowing you to feel the light coming downwards, as natural sunlight would. I think this is an excellent value light therapy lamp and would recommend it for cost conscious purchasers.
