Would put 5 but the quality isn't the best. Like a sweater, it can fit better. It's a bit baggy, and the knitting could have been neater (no pun intended). The sweater arrived quickly. The design and colors are accurate which is a plus. My son wears a size L 10-12 uniform purchased from Walmart, so the medium fits him a little larger. I think he will wear it next Christmas too. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. (I also bought a size L and returned it free for a full refund with no hassles, great company, thanks!)
