I have a small kitchen and when I was baking bread, flour spilled out of the Kitchen Aid mixing bowl. Adding flour slowly was so painful, removing it was even more painful. I looked at bowl lids to prevent this, including from Kitchen Aid. They looked bulky, poorly designed and cost the same. Many reviews say they don't work. Most of them don't completely cover the bowl, leaving a gap for the flour to squirt out. Why should I spend my money? I chose the AIEVE case and was very happy with it. The AIEVE bowl lid snaps into place and closes everything. He stays where he is. It detaches easily so you can add more ingredients to the bowl. No leaks. Easy to clean. And they send you TWO of them. What else do you need? Just make sure it fits in the mixing bowl. I believe they have a table listing the models the cover will work with.
