This mat has held up well to exercise with shoes on as well as to use with an exercise bike. While the 4 feet of the bike did leave temporary indentions in the mat (which is generally expected,) these all went away on their own within several hours to a day, leaving the mat looking brand new.The mat is easy to clean off, a good size, and comfortable for doing cardio exercise with with or without shoes. It protects the carpet I have underneath it and doesn't seem to slip much against the carpet.It's easy to roll up this mat for storage and it comes with three straps and a bag. You do need to roll it up relatively tight to fit it into the bag, though.The edge of the mat that is on the inner part of the roll also tends to stay curled just a bit (visible in the photos here) after laying out the mat, though it should be easy enough to fix this by laying something on it for a while or even just rolling it a bit in the other direction if that's a problem for you (e.g. tripping hazard.) It wasn't a problem in my case, though, so I haven't bothered.This mat would also work well for activities like VR where you're standing or moving around within a relatively small space for an extended duration. I have another mat that is nearly identical except quite a bit larger that works great in my VR play space (which is a large living room.) If 6x4 is the right size for your play space, then this mat should work well for that, too. Having a mat like this out for VR takes a lot of stress off of my back, feet, and legs from extended standing. I highly recommend getting a good mat that can be used with or without shoes if you're into VR and this one fits the bill well if it's the right size for your area.
