Review on πŸ”— KMC Chain Link Pliers for Removing Missing Links by Devin Girard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Work with one hand. for power tools and hand tools

I have several tools in two different conditions. I stock a missing link park tool so I had to buy another here on the west coast. This time I went for the missing link opener from KMC and I really like it better than the Park version. The difference is that KMC has a spring and Park doesn't. To use the parking tool, you must manually grasp and open the tool with both hands, then slide it into the slots to push the two halves together and release the master/faulty link. After that, you need to spread the handles to pull out the tool. The spring version of the KMC allows this operation to be performed with one hand. You need it? Hey it's up to you Riding and caring for a bike is my hobby. It's very nice when I can change cassettes, chains, bleed the brakes and change the brake pads. These tools make the job easier. If I can avoid LBC doing general repairs and maintenance I can do it myself, I will. In my opinion $10 is cheap for a tool that will be used multiple times.
