Mail will not fall - drop door is poorly designed.

This mailbox is not worth the metal is is made from. We had to take the door off just so our mail carrier would put the mail in rather than leaving it hang half out of the box or laying on the ground.The door that pulls down is just barely wide enough for a standard size letter, anything bigger will not fit.Only 1 letter can be put in at a time and then you're lucky if it dropped down into the holding box.I removed the door, bent the tines down hoping it would allow mail to drop when the door closed, it did not. At best one or two letters might drop. Anything larger than a standard letter will not go in.I had to remove the door so my mail carrier will leave my mail in the box. He said because he can't get the nail to please get a new box.I Do Not Recommend This Box.

Just awful!! First off the directions are horrible they are missing so many key directions. I followed the directions as they were written out. Never worked I also had 3 other ppl read the directions and none of us could get the safe to work! What a waste of money and time . I’ve learned my lesson. Don’t go cheaper or don’t ever go with something that doesn’t have a name brand!
