I was very disappointed when I received a defective charger, especially since I needed a working one as soon as possible. I double checked that all the specs were exactly the same as my original Microsoft branded charger and since they were, I took a chance and went with this one. Unfortunately, when I connected the charger to my laptop, the charging light blinked once and then went black and wouldn't charge. After trying multiple outlets and connection methods, I had to return it. Luckily the customer service is great so I got a full refund. I can't blame the phrase "you get what you pay for" for this as my $60 microsoft brand charger stopped working after 6 months. Two stars for customer service but disappointed that I couldn't count on this purchase.
