Works well, has trouble sealing connections

If you want a basic, inexpensive, standard size filter canister this will do. I was having trouble with a slow leak in one of the threaded ports. Lots of teflon tape and twisting stopped the leak completely. Shut-off valve facilitates cartridge replacement.
