I verified this by cutting two unnecessary PCB's with different pass capacitors, MOSFETs, resistors, transformers etc. It works quite well for a while until cleaning is needed. The solder buildup inside the piston eventually prevents suction until the tool becomes less and less efficient. That's to be expected, of course, but how the hell are you going to clean this thing? Is it for single use? Of course, there is no "release button" to separate the piston from the barrel to remove solder debris. There is a guy on YouTube who can only clean the block by grabbing the piston rod from above and prying the piston assembly out of the handle. But with such an effort, the plastic frame in which the cylinder is inserted breaks, which is unacceptable! Don't break things just to clean them! I plan on finding a way to get the piston out of the grip without hurting it, maybe with a little micro-grinding or some kind of modification. If anyone has an idea about this, please leave a comment below. BTW, my unit is labeled "30W, 110-130V" and draws a measured 0.25 amps = 30W when connected to 120VAC. But since it can handle higher voltage, I've also tried using a Connect variator (autotransformer) and increase it to 130 VAC, then it draws 0.3 amps = 40 watts. So the device runs fine at 30W, but 40W speeds things up a bit.
