I like this piece of toy. I have four parrots, two green-cheeked kennels and two parrots, and all four love to shred. It's also somewhat long-lasting, lasting over four seconds. I would definitely buy it again for my birds. They really liked it. My Green Cheeks ripped off the bottom strips and we actually tied them to another toy for them to keep playing with. You really need to keep your birds occupied or they will get bored and start neurotic behaviors like plucking. The best thing to do is buy them several different toys, move them around, and swap them out. This would make a lovely addition to any small bird cage. I live near some chain pet stores but I'm tired of buying the same toys over and over again and I'm sure birds do too so I checked Amazon. I was not disappointed. I highly recommend this product.
