The star attachment is really pretty. I had no problem attaching it to the top of my artificial Christmas tree. I just bent the top branch so the tip fits snugly against it. Just adjust it a bit so it doesn't tilt. While beautiful, she doesn't look solid. I'm afraid when this season is over it might not be kept in the packaging and kept with all my Christmas decorations. It is also only a ONE WAY star. The back is just a round piece of plastic that screws on to keep the light out. So if your tree can be viewed 360 degrees (from all angles), it may not be a star for you, since the back . Well, not so nice. In general I like it, pretty from the front. Goes well with my 6ft tall artificial tree. Just not too happy with the fact that it's one-sided and doesn't feel solid. I have included some photos to help you decide if this is right for your needs.
