Good collar with a long range. We have pointers, they run fast and far. Very obedient but often too far away to hear commands. We weren't able to accurately measure the overall reception range, the collar appears to have a long range. No matter how far away, the dogs always responded to either the sound or the buzzing. I haven't tried shock mode yet. Can't comment on durability as we've only been using it daily for a few weeks, but so far no issues and good battery life. (not really needed) doesn't fit well, sometimes can't stay closed. We have used other training collars in the past, I think the technology has improved. It has proven to be the best value for money so far. Extra credit. When we received the collar, there was a small issue with the charging mode. We wrote to the company and they called us back. You are aware of the problem. Resolve the situation to our complete satisfaction.
