I used to only play with graphite. I wasn't sure if fiberglass would make much of a difference, but I decided to give it a try. Oh my goodness! My shot was much more accurate! I reached my goal much more often and more precisely than with my graphites. It should be mentioned that as you can see from the pics I shared the grip is actually 4.5 and the weight is 8.12. Maybe the weight and grip were measured before they added the grip tape. It wasn't a problem for me but if someone is on the edge of weight or has smaller hands it would be good for them to know about it. I found the handle weight to be higher than my previous two paddles. I wasn't sure if I would like it... but I do! This paddle is more of an extension of my body. I think a little more weight makes a difference.
