The carpet is very beautiful. I was concerned because it came rolled up and when I unfolded it there were a few air pockets inside. But when we rolled it back we took care of it quickly and now it lies flat. The stitched edge is smooth and appears to make the rug more durable. The plastic on the mouse has an odd texture that might be less comfortable for everyday use, but could come in handy if your hands get sweaty during gaming sessions. The scroll wheel feels good in the hand. I don't like reading manuals so it took me a while to figure out the DPS. It has 4 DPS settings which are toggled by pressing the button under the wheel. I think the weight is ideal but that's just my opinion and the mouse could benefit from removable weights. I think this is great value for money and I would recommend this combo to any gamer looking for a budget mouse and pad. It looks really cool in a dimly lit room and goes well with my red character.
