I really love this stuff. I was new to owning a guinea pig and I was concerned about what I would use to clean her cage. she is sensitive I use it all over her cage including her food bowls. Sometimes you have to clean up a bit. I personally left it on for a few minutes then it squirted out on the outside and it separated from what was caked on their cage from previous owners. My test person has never had a problem with it and is older.
