The price is right and there's even a lot to like. The disadvantages are not critical for me, but they cannot be ignored. My intention for them was a gaming headset for PS4Pros: - Cost: They are very affordable. Brilliant! Construction: The cord has a protective fabric coating to protect it from pinching, kinking, etc., which I really like. Microphone quality: The microphone is adjustable and stays where I put it. It feels solid and is also unobtrusive enough not to snag on anything. When I speak, he sounds good to other players. Cable: Nice and long although you only need a few feet on the console and this is 3 feet long so universal for other devices. Compatibility: I plug it in*, it works. JA.-Bits and Bobs: I like that there is a button to turn off the microphone and adjust the volume. Also, it must be compatible with devices that require separate audio/microphone plug-ins. Cons: - The sound quality is BAD. It sounds like hearing something in a cave. Uncomfortable: The ear cups aren't adjustable and the band that stays on top of the head is HUGE. I have a large melon with me so I usually have to enlarge it. But these things, set as low as possible, still have about a half inch between my head and the strap, allowing them to slide down and the ear cups to rest against my ears. That way my ears take the weight of the entire headset and aren't distributed across the band/top of my head. This makes them very uncomfortable, especially when I wear them for a long period of time. The solution would be to increase the adjustment range so the band can be reduced even further, *And* the earcups need to be hinged to fit over (not over) the ears.
