Review on Remington H1016 Compact Ceramic Hair Setter, Worldwide Voltage, 1-1 ¼ Inch Hair Rollers, Purple/Black by Kristen Wheeler

Some of the clips didn't fit properly on the reels so I replaced them with some I bought separately . I bought it for a month trip to Europe and the Middle East. It was worth saving space in the suitcase, but I wouldn't need them for general everyday use. They aren't as hot as my regular set and don't feel as gentle on hair as other sets. I have hair well below my shoulders and had to style my hair 1/2 at a time to allow the curlers to warm up. The rollers are also not as soft as many of those you can buy for general home use. I would be concerned that they might weigh down your hair if it's as long as mine and chemically treated. I will definitely use them again for overseas trips though, when space is limited. No converter is required, just an adapter. I bought these primarily for travel so they have served me well for that purpose and are good value for money given their small size for travel. I haven't seen anything (yet) that I think would be better. If they softened the rollers, provided better fitting staples, and heated the rollers a little warmer, this would be a really great product.
