So far this device is working well. My living room TV and the Roku are a bit far from my other router and the signal has to pass through several walls. As a result, my TV buffers despite the gigabit speed. I wanted to buy a Wi-Fi extender, but I have a Wi-Fi 6 router and the Wi-Fi extenders here at Revain are not 802.11ax compatible. So I figured the best thing would be to just buy another router and plug it in. Of course it works great. The new router has about the same Wi-Fi speed, around 200 Mbps on my phone, as my other router, and more than enough speed to keep my Roku device running smoothly. No buffering! Since I'm not paying any money for my current Cenutrylink Wifi 6 router, it doesn't matter, but I think I could use it as a standalone device if I had to - barring the space-related buffering issues. In addition, the price is an absolute bargain.
