Good for industrial applications, control panels etc.
We have used them in both Industrial Ethernet applications and in HDMI extenders with CAT 5 or 6 cables, they do not interfere with either signal. In 2 years of use on 100-300ft cables we haven't had any surge damage so either they work or we didn't need protection. However, the low cost of this item makes it useful insurance in case something happens.
