I bought this #1 circular needle to knit socks. Her mission was a nightmare. The connection of the straight part of the needle with a round tube has an edge that is almost imperceptible when passing by hand, but during operation. I knit two socks. Each time I started a new side, I had to carefully work each stitch over the edge. 34 loops on one sock. 34 loops for the next sock. Turn and repeat. I also can't imagine yarn being pushed and pulled over an edge. Also, there is a burr at the tip of a needle that I only feel when knitting. Once I got past the wear zones of my socks, I could move on to the next size needle. I would send the nasty needles back but I waited too long. I tried to take a picture of the problem area but it's not in the picture.
