After trying to use the included software and OSB Suite, I still couldn't see the USB Capture video inputs when previewing the transfer and couldn't select the capture device as the video input (audio was fine). Windows Device Manager told me the capture device was loaded correctly (including drivers) and available for use. After a few emails and several screenshots sent over the course of two days, the technicians diagnosed that I might have a camera access/permissions issue. It was! Once I allowed applications to access the USB capture device's camera, everything was fine, both for the OSB and the included software. My VHS videos are old so I just used the included Honestech software as it was that easy. Maybe I could have used a cheaper device but their support made all the difference!
